Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex electrical failures in production machinery and infrastructure. Program, maintain, and integrate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other automation components. Lead and execute electrical aspects of capital projects, including installation, commissioning, and validation. Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain comprehensive electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Optimize existing electrical systems and equipment for improved efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, motor control circuits, and VFDs. Demonstrated experience with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN). Familiarity with electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and machine safety principles. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in manufacturing equipment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial automation platforms (e.g., Rockwell PLCs, Siemens TIA Portal, SCADA systems). Familiarity with industrial robotics and machine vision systems. Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet) and cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT). Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
