Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and components. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply chain to gather market intelligence. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans to refine forecasts. Provide demand input for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for significant deviations. Manage forecast models and utilize demand planning software effectively. Support inventory optimization by providing reliable demand signals to production planning. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software (e.g., Kinaxis, IBP). Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to apply statistical forecasting methods and interpret data. Demonstrated understanding of S&OP processes and end-to-end supply chain principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Anaplan. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Experience forecasting new product introductions (NPI) or promotional demand.
