Facilities Manager | Mason, MI Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for excelling in facilities manager? The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Mason region seeking Facilities Managers. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventive, corrective, and predictive programs for manufacturing infrastructure and support systems. Develop, manage, and monitor the annual facilities budget, optimizing operational costs and capital expenditures. Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building codes pertinent to manufacturing operations. Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services, negotiating terms and monitoring performance. Plan, execute, and oversee facility improvement projects, expansions, and space reconfigurations to support production needs. Implement and maintain robust security systems and emergency preparedness plans for the manufacturing site. Manage utility systems, including energy consumption monitoring and initiatives for efficiency and sustainability. Recommended Qualifications Extensive experience managing facility operations, maintenance, and infrastructure within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in project management for facility upgrades, installations, and renovations. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) applicable to industrial settings. Proficiency in budget management, vendor negotiation, and contract administration for facility services. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and building automation systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience. Professional certifications such as OSHA 30, PMP, or relevant trade licenses. Proficiency in CAD or BIM software for facility layout and space planning. Demonstrated experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives.
