The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the DeWitt region seeking Facilities Managers. Key Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure. Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation. Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental (HSE), and regulatory standards for the site. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan. Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and service providers for facility-related projects and services. Plan and execute facility improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, and new equipment installations. Optimize utility consumption and waste management practices to support sustainable manufacturing operations. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical knowledge of industrial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and preventative maintenance programs. Proven experience with OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and building codes pertinent to manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to manage facility projects, capital improvements, and operational budgets. Experience leading maintenance teams and managing external vendors or contractors. Bonus Qualifications Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) implementation or optimization. OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent advanced safety training. Proven experience with energy management systems and sustainability initiatives. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for space planning and layout management.
