Key Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, building systems, and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations (OSHA), environmental standards, and building codes. Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation. Manage relationships with external contractors, service providers, and vendors. Plan and execute facility improvement projects, expansions, and reconfigurations to support production needs. Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespans. Manage utility consumption, waste management, and sustainability initiatives across the plant. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience managing facilities within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems maintenance. Demonstrated ability to manage facility projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations. In-depth understanding of safety regulations (OSHA), environmental compliance (EPA), and building codes. Experience with budget management, procurement, and vendor relations for facility services. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management experience. Experience in energy management, sustainability initiatives, or LEED certification processes.
