Facilities Manager | Grand Rapids, MI Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excelling in facilities manager? The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Grand Rapids seeking experienced Facilities Managers. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of facility maintenance, including manufacturing equipment, utilities, and building infrastructure. Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs to optimize operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Oversee facility budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and procurement of services and supplies. Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers for repairs, projects, and routine services. Plan, manage, and execute facility improvement projects, expansions, and renovations. Implement and monitor energy management and sustainability initiatives. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical knowledge of industrial building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical) and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA). Proven ability to manage facility projects, operational budgets, and vendor relationships. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and building automation systems. Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) implementation or optimization. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience. Demonstrated experience with energy management systems or sustainability initiatives. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
