Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies. Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and facility inspections. Investigate EHS incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees on various safety and environmental topics. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs and procedures. Oversee hazardous waste management, including proper storage, labeling, disposal, and record-keeping. Maintain accurate EHS records, documentation, and prepare required regulatory reports. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. 3+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific EHS regulations. Proven experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions. Ability to develop, deliver, and manage EHS training programs. Familiarity with hazardous waste management, wastewater, and air permit compliance. Bonus Qualifications Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce. HAZWOPER certification or experience managing hazardous waste streams. Experience with EHS management system implementation (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Proficiency with EHS software platforms or data analytics tools for trend analysis. Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification.
