Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Manage hazardous waste and environmental programs, including permit compliance and reporting. Maintain required EHS documentation, permits, and records. Assist in the development and implementation of EHS management systems and procedures. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related scientific field. 3-5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, and deliver effective training. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
