Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment according to specifications. Load and unload raw materials and finished workpieces into EDM machines. Monitor machine performance, tool wear, and part quality during operation. Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions and make minor adjustments. Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance. Select, prepare, and install appropriate electrodes and tooling for each job. Recommended Qualifications Experience operating Wire and/or Sinker EDM machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Strong understanding of EDM principles, tooling, and setup procedures. Basic troubleshooting skills for machine operation and process issues.
