The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Grand Haven that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues to minimize production downtime and improve reliability. Implement and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and industrial control systems. Manage and execute electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) within the facility. Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams on electrical systems and best practices. Recommended Qualifications Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and motor control circuits. Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens). Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues on manufacturing equipment and production lines. Knowledge of relevant electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA). Ability to design, implement, and optimize electrical control systems for manufacturing processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial automation platforms (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA). Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN). Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and OT cybersecurity. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
