Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions on production machinery to minimize downtime. Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from scope definition to commissioning. Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and regulatory requirements. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new equipment integration, upgrades, and process optimization. Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for electrical infrastructure and controls. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development. Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution. Demonstrated experience in electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventative maintenance. Familiarity with electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA) and machine safety principles. Ability to design and implement electrical systems for new equipment or process upgrades. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and industrial control systems. Familiarity with SCADA/MES systems for plant-level data acquisition and control. Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet). Experience with robotics or automated material handling systems. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
