Calibration Technician | Delta Township, MI Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for excelling in calibration technician? The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Perform routine calibration, adjustment, and repair of various precision measuring instruments and test equipment. Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality management systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in equipment, performing necessary adjustments or minor repairs. Develop, review, and update calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Ensure all calibrated equipment complies with internal standards, industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP), and customer requirements. Manage and track the calibration status and schedules for all manufacturing equipment. Operate and maintain calibration standards and reference equipment. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated understanding of fundamental metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025). Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting a variety of test and measurement equipment (electrical, mechanical, dimensional). Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data interpretation, error analysis, and unit conversions. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately document calibration results and maintain meticulous records. Familiarity with calibration management software and standard office applications.
