Calibration Technician | Whitehall, MI Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excelling in calibration technician? The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Whitehall region seeking Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform routine calibration, adjustment, and repair of various measurement and test equipment (M&TE). Maintain accurate and organized calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with malfunctioning instrumentation and test equipment. Ensure all calibrated equipment complies with internal specifications and external regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, NIST traceability). Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions. Manage and maintain calibration schedules and recall systems for all applicable equipment. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support equipment validation and new equipment integration. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., metrology, electronics, instrumentation) or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a related technical role within manufacturing. Proficient understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025). Demonstrated ability to operate, troubleshoot, and calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. Strong documentation skills and experience with calibration management software. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and procedures.
