Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Mattawan, MI Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for excelling in bookkeeper / office manager? Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll, including associated tax filings and employee expense reports. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts for financial reporting. Oversee office administration, inventorying and ordering supplies, and coordinating facility services. Provide administrative support for HR functions, including new hire onboarding and maintaining employee records. Assist with month-end close procedures and generate basic financial reports for management review. Manage communication flow, including front desk reception, phone systems, and mail distribution. Recommended Qualifications Solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping principles and GAAP. Proven proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Demonstrated experience managing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Prior experience in office management and administrative support functions. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Sage X3) in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with inventory management or basic cost accounting principles. Exposure to supply chain processes or vendor management in a production environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to a manufacturing facility.
