The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking Applications Engineers. Key Responsibilities Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers and sales teams on product applications. Develop, test, and validate manufacturing application solutions to meet specific customer requirements. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept trials for prospective clients. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to product integration and application performance. Collaborate with R&D and product management teams to provide customer feedback for product enhancements. Create detailed technical documentation, application notes, and training materials for products. Lead the technical aspects of customer projects from initial concept through successful implementation. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. Proven experience with manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, automation, robotics). Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering design/simulation tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent technical communication skills for customer interaction. Experience with industrial equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) for manufacturing process optimization. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI) to derive insights from operational data. Familiarity with specific advanced manufacturing techniques (e.g., additive manufacturing, advanced robotics programming). Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects.
