Ensure daily production schedules and quality targets are consistently met. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the assembly area. Monitor and improve assembly processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality discrepancies. Manage resource allocation, including personnel and materials, to optimize workflow. Recommended Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet efficiency, quality, and safety goals. Strong understanding of assembly processes, tools, equipment, and quality control methodologies. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience with continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean manufacturing). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and cross-functional collaboration. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) for production planning and inventory management. Experience with automated assembly processes or robotics. Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other relevant local language).
