Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Oversee procurement strategies and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective material acquisition. Develop and implement production plans and material requirements planning (MRP) to support manufacturing schedules. Lead and mentor the materials team, including buyers, planners, and warehouse personnel. Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems and procedures within ERP/MRP systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, logistics, and inventory accuracy. Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering to align material strategies with business objectives. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management, and logistics within a manufacturing setting. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for materials planning and inventory control. Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier relationship management. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality systems.
