Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical malfunctions on production machinery and equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment operation. Install, commission, and troubleshoot new manufacturing equipment. Execute basic fabrication, welding, and machining for equipment repair and modification. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for machinery. Recommended Qualifications 3-5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong understanding and practical experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Technical diploma or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field. Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for diagnostic purposes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG). Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
