Mechanic | Zeeland, MI Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems? These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues. Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential failures. Install, commission, and modify new production machinery. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other industrial safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Demonstrated experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
