Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Develop and implement material planning strategies, including MRP and demand forecasting. Oversee the efficient flow of materials through the manufacturing process and supply chain. Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective material acquisition. Lead and develop the materials team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Implement warehouse and logistics best practices for storage, handling, and distribution. Monitor and report on key materials metrics, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in materials management within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced inventory control methodologies. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience managing teams. In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, demand planning, and supply chain optimization. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or proven experience leading complex supply chain projects. Proficiency in global sourcing strategies and international logistics.
