Labor & Employment Attorney Career Consulting Partners is proud to partner with a well-established and growing defense litigation firm in their search for a Skilled Litigation Attorney . The firm handles a broad spectrum of complex litigation, with this role focusing primarily on employment law . We welcome skilled civil litigators, even those without prior experience in these specific areas, as we provide support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition into the applicable law. Associates work directly under a Partner’s guidance, with additional associates available to support one another as needed. Our office culture is highly collaborative, and Partners are always ready to step in and assist. Duties: Manage a diverse caseload (10 - 20) from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery. Conduct legal research and develop strategies tailored to each client’s goals. Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, clients, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness. Requirements: 3–10 years of California litigation experience. Employment defense experience preferred. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently while working as part of a team. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service. California Bar admission in good standing. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary ($140,000 – $200,000 +) plus discretionary bonuses.
