PE Teacher – Watford

About the position

Start Date: January 2026 A dynamic and inclusive school in Watford is looking for an energetic PE ECT to join its motivated sports faculty from January 2026. The school places great emphasis on developing well-rounded students through health, wellbeing, and teamwork. The Role You’ll teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting active participation and healthy living. You’ll also play an important part in the school’s extracurricular sports provision, including inter-school competitions and fitness initiatives. The Department The PE department is vibrant and well-equipped with a fitness suite, gymnasium, and extensive outdoor pitches. The team encourages creativity and student leadership through a wide range of sporting disciplines. Responsibilities Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3–KS4. Support extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures. Promote wellbeing, teamwork, and personal achievement. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance provision. Uphold health and safety standards in all activities. About You PE graduate with QTS or completing training. Passionate about sport, inclusion, and motivation.
