Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Geography department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. Develop and implement a stimulating and relevant curriculum that challenges and engages students. Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to improve outcomes. Lead departmental CPD and ensure teachers are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding lessons. Manage departmental resources effectively and efficiently. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Geography or a related subject. Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting. Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A commitment to student success and a passion for Geography education.
