Head of Geography - Outstanding Hackney School We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Geography to join our outstanding school in Hackney. You will lead a thriving department and play a key role in shaping the future of Geography education. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Geography department. Develop and implement an engaging and challenging curriculum that inspires students. Lead and manage a team of dedicated Geography teachers. Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to ensure high attainment. Lead on departmental CPD and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Geography or a related subject. Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting. Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A commitment to student success and a passion for Geography education.
