Your Responsabilities As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer (M/F) - remote in Portugal to support cloud transformation and digital innovation initiatives. You will join our technology team, reporting to the Cloud Engineering Lead , and will be an essential contributor to the success of key infrastructure and DevOps projects. Design, implement, and manage secure AWS infrastructure architectures, focusing on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization Automate deployments and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK Monitor system health and performance with AWS native services (CloudWatch, CloudTrail), responding to incidents and proactively resolving issues Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and integration across cloud-based platforms Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations on cloud security, backup, disaster recovery, and access management Analyze and optimize cloud spend, recommending improvements to drive efficiency Document cloud solutions, participate in technical reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience At least 3 years of experience deploying and managing AWS cloud solutions Hands-on expertise in core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, RDS, IAM, ECS/EKS) Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar) Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar) Strong understanding of security best practices in the cloud (encryption, least-privilege access, patch management) Relevant AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer) are a plus English language proficiency (B2 or higher) Soft skills Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Effective communicator who thrives in multidisciplinary teams Attention to detail and passion for high-quality engineering outcomes Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to high-impact projects Why Join Us?
