About the Role An Outstanding boys school in Brent requires a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join their science department. You'll deliver engaging chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3-5, nurturing students' scientific curiosity. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry Teacher lessons, covering core chemical concepts and practical investigations. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes. Develop students' understanding of chemical reactions, bonding, and analytical techniques. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the chemistry curriculum and resources. Organise and lead chemistry-related extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and competitions. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Chemistry. Proven experience in teaching chemistry at secondary level, including A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry. Excellent communication and practical skills.
