About the Role An Outstanding mixed school in Haringey seeks a knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their humanities department. You'll deliver engaging geography lessons across Key Stages 3-5, exploring global issues and developing students' understanding of the world. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes. Develop students' understanding of geographical concepts, global issues, and environmental challenges. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and resources. Organise and lead geography-related extracurricular activities, such as field trips and geographical societies. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography. Proven experience in teaching geography at secondary level, including A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
