Mixed Practice Veterinary Surgeon Location: Kilkenny town & surrounds Permanent | Full-time (Part-time or Locum considered) The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a well-established mixed practice in Kilkenny , looking to add a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to a friendly and experienced 4-vet team . This is a varied and rewarding role with a 60% Large Animal / 40% Small Animal split. Experience is preferred but not essential , and new graduates will receive excellent support and mentoring . The Role Mixed practice: 60% LA / 40% SA Small animal side expanding and fully equipped Modern equipment and progressive clinical approach OOH rota: 1 in 3 during spring 1 in 6 for the remainder of the year (approx. 8.5 months) Half-day Friday following weekends on call Factory work available if desired Whats on Offer Excellent salary (dependent on experience) Mileage covered VDS & CVE paid Bonus scheme for AHI work 4 weeks annual leave + bank holidays Supportive team culture with flexibility Part-time or locum options considered Candidate Requirements Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Ireland Interest in mixed practice Strong communication skills and team-focused mindset New graduates welcome with structured support Apply confidentially via: info@thevetoffice.com
