RS ECT required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Braintree RS ECT to join a reflective, values-driven and supportive Humanities department Our Client is seeking an RS ECT to teach KS3–KS4 Religious Studies , contributing to ethical discussion, philosophical reasoning and multicultural understanding within a well-resourced department. School Information This 11–18 comprehensive serves roughly 1,250 pupils and has a strong Humanities faculty known for its structured planning, supportive teaching culture and well-organised curriculum pathways. The RS department offers rich learning materials, discussion-based lessons, digital resources and strong sequencing that helps ECTs deliver meaningful content with clarity and confidence. Teachers describe the school as consistent, friendly and focused on professional development. ECTs receive weekly mentoring support, planned observations, reduced teaching hours and termly training focused on pedagogy and curriculum understanding.
