About the position

General Laborer – Restoration Overview The General Laborer supports restoration projects after water, fire, storm, or other property damage. This role involves hands-on work, assisting technicians, and helping prepare, clean, and restore residential and commercial sites. Responsibilities Assist with water damage mitigation and basic cleanup. Support debris removal and light demolition (drywall, flooring, damaged materials). Help with fire/smoke cleaning and site preparation. Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Assist with pack-outs, moving contents, and basic on-site tasks. Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians. Interact with customers professionally and respectfully. Perform other assigned duties. Qualifications Valid drivers license preferred. Ability to pass background check and drug screening. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Experience in construction, maintenance, or restoration is a plus. Able to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call. Physical Requirements Lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly. Stand, walk, bend, and carry materials for extended periods. Work indoors/outdoors, sometimes in damaged or wet environments. Travel Occasional travel based on job needs (less than 25%).
