Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated associate to join our Corporate Trust Team in our Global Finance Practice Group, based in our Boston, MA office. The successful candidate will be involved in a varied and dynamic practice, ranging from new origination of collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) and other asset-backed securities, corporate bonds, and specialty finance to the resolution of distressed transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in new origination of collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) and other asset-backed securities.
- Work on corporate bonds and specialty finance projects.
- Manage the resolution of distressed transactions.
- Provide direct client contact and work independently on various financial matters.
- Draft and negotiate financial documents and agreements.
- Utilize strong financial and analytical skills to support client needs.
Qualifications:
- Two to four years of experience in corporate, structured finance, real estate or commercial finance, securities, public finance, or a combination of one or more of these areas.
- Strong financial, analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with direct client contact.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Superb judgment and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent client services.
