About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant for our client in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support financial operations.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
- Provide financial insights to management to support decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
