Credit Vetting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct credit checks and vetting on new loan applications according to company policy and regulatory guidelines.
Input and process applications using the internal loan management system.
Identify potential credit risks and escalate where necessary.
Collaborate with the risk, sales, and operations teams to ensure timely processing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the system.
Generate reports and assist with audit or compliance requests when required.
Provide feedback on system usability and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in credit vetting, credit analysis, or a related field.
Comfortable navigating and working with IT systems or platforms (loan systems preferred).
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
