About the position
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of barge / crane and all equipment on deck
- Proper manning of vessel
- Ensure safety of all crews
- Cover duty of Barge Master when he is away
- Operates floating crane to lift / move equipment, cargoes, anchor chain, slings etc.
- Inspect crane for any defective parts and inform the Barge Master
- Cleans and maintains crane
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE O Level
- Crane Operator License (MOM)
- Able to assist in crane barge mooring operation
- Lifting supervisor certificate
- Signal man / riggers certificate
- SSIC
- Carry out maintenance on other employer barges
- Assist in survey
