Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outbound shipments from PTP to Singapore and manage self-collection arrangements at PTP.
- Oversee container inbound and outbound processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
- Prepare and manage customs documentation, including:
- Packing Lists
- Bills of Lading (BL)
- Delivery Orders and Invoices
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport providers for sea, air, land, and courier shipments.
- Ensure compliance with FTZ regulations and customs requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service support, including shipment tracking, issue resolution, and communication with clients.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to shipping and logistics activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and customer service processes.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or customer service, preferably within an FTZ environment.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and freight coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS, TMS).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Others:
- Experience working at or with the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP).
- Familiarity with cross-border logistics between Malaysia and Singapore.
- Knowledge of incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping regulations.
