About the position
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations including processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of reports and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and process accounting transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Maintain and update financial records and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and assist in generating reports as required by the Finance team
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide administrative support to the Finance department as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 12 years of experience in general accounting or finance-related roles preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
