As trusted partners in land development, our projects span Southern California and are expanding nationally.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager Civil Engineer to lead and manage land development projects from initial planning through final design and permitting. In this full-time, in-office role, you will oversee a team of designers, collaborate with leadership, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive, growth-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to learning and development
  • Lead a design team using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create land development construction drawings
  • Manage all phases of land development projects (e.g., high-density residential, shopping centers, auto dealerships, gas stations, amusement parks, QSR developments)
  • Oversee the entitlement process and secure grading permits, encroachment permits, and other necessary approvals
  • Ensure civil engineering plans meet QA/QC standards and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Establish project-specific design criteria while adhering to general standards and company best practices
  • Mentor and manage associate engineers and designers with an efficient, problem-solving leadership style
  • Produce accurate, competitive project proposals and assist with business development efforts
  • Uphold company standards and embody our core values in all interactions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in land development
  • Strong client management, project management, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage project budgets and timelines
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with Civil 3D preferred)
  • EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
