Production Manager

About the position

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in the tyre industry, known for its operational excellence and commitment to continuous improvement. They are currently seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead and optimize their production operations at the plant in Citeureup, Bogor.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tire production operations, from planning through to final delivery.

• Develop and implement production strategies, plans, and policies aimed at maximizing productivity and minimizing waste.

• Ensure achievement of production targets, adherence to quality standards, and cost-efficiency across all lines.

• Monitor and analyze production performance data to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.

• Manage and coordinate a large, cross-functional production team including supervisors and operators.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and product quality regulations.

• Collaborate with procurement, quality control, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Oversee production budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.

• Ensure raw materials and necessary components are available to meet production schedules.

• Supervise the maintenance of production machinery and ensure minimal downtime.

• Conduct risk analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize disruptions.

• Foster team development through coaching, training, and performance management.

• Introduce and implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance efficiency.

• Provide regular production performance reports to senior management.

• Actively support new product development and process innovation initiatives.

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment across production areas.

• Manage resolution of production-related issues and internal complaints.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and relevant stakeholders.

• Provide strategic insights based on production metrics to support broader business objectives.

• Ensure all production operations comply with applicable laws and industry regulations in Indonesia.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees are a plus.

2. At least 15 years of experience in production management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

3. Proven experience leading large and diverse teams.

4. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvements and motivate teams.

7. Deep commitment to safety and compliance with HSE standards.

8. Skilled in budgeting and cost control.

9. Able to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.

10. Willing to be placed on-site in Citeureup, Bogor Regency.

11. Age range: 35 - 45 years old.

12. Solid knowledge of industry best practices and relevant local regulations.
