LEGAL COUNSEL

Job Description:

Corporate Governance: Assist in managing corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder resolutions and corporate filings.
Contract Review & Negotiation: Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, partnership agreements, licensing agreements and NDAs
Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant financial services regulations, data protection laws and industry-specific rules. Support the team in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits.
M&A & Investments: Assist in due diligence and legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and investment transactions.
Risk Management: Identify and advice on potential legal risks, liabilities and exposures associated with the company's operations, products and services.
Litigation Support: Provide support in dispute resolution, including managing external counsel and developing strategies to address legal challenges.
Advisory Support: Provide day-to-day legal advice to business teams on a variety of issues, such as product development, marketing, intellectual property and customer agreements.
