About the position
Job Overview:
A trusted medical facility in Mayfield, KY, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across a variety of applications. This mid-level role is ideal for a credentialed sonographer with experience in general and specialized ultrasound techniques, committed to patient comfort and imaging accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, neonatal, breast, testicular, and other small parts.

Operate sonographic equipment and ensure optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes.

Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures while maintaining comfort and safety.

Collaborate with radiologists for timely and accurate image interpretation.

Maintain detailed documentation and uphold compliance with imaging protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology.

Must have completed an accredited DMS program or hold ARRT or DMS certification.

Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience (3 years preferred).

Demonstrated competency in performing a variety of ultrasound scans for radiologic interpretation.
Preferred Qualifications:

Three (3) years of relevant experience preferred.
