About the position
Job :
- Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing equipment improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.
- Decide on operations matters and ensure operations effective achievement of objectives.
- Own & Drive the equipment KPIs & performance indices (for eg. Uptime, OEE, OPE, MTTR and other related).
- To drive productivity and cost improvement thru uph, uptime, automation, process simplification.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Responsible for guiding subordinates in resolving yield and quality issues, related to equipment.
- To lead / coach engineers in driving yield, quality and productivity.
- Support manufacturing goals / NPI / enginering activities / quality performance mtgs / manage related issues.
- To lead & drive material / consumable cost reduction programs, through value engineering programs.
- Sustain and provide continuous improvement yield/ quality /productivity through planning, evaluating, verifying and executing procedures to ensure that products meet all customers requirements.
- Daily equipment review/monitoring of equipment performance matrices and cross support manufacturing performance.
- Analyse current operational process and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
- Ensures that company / department goals are met.
- Able to cohesively co-work with all supporting groups & process and mfg team.
Requirement:
Degree in Engineering discipline (preferably with a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
Minimum 5 years in managerial position
Excellent project management, leadership and communication skills.
Preferable with Semiconductor, Wafer fabrication Equipment experiences.
