Position
A company is currently seeking a Production Printer Technician who is skilled in repairing and maintaining Canon & Ricoh Production Printers for its office in Sacramento, CA.

Essential Job Duties

Responsible for a full range of repairs and service procedures on high-speed digital copiers/printers, full-color copiers/printers, and facsimiles

Perform diagnostics, installation, troubleshooting, machine modifications, software upgrades, removal, and retrofits on a wide range of production machines
-
Canon and/or Océ Vario Series Certification & service experience (including Titan & Colorado Machines)

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating large format printers, preferably in a professional printing environment

Provide high-quality technical support and expertise by completing each service call according to service agreements and requirements

Effectively complete all territory assignments and develop options to resolve unexpected problems

Participate in training to remain up to date with new products and procedures

Provide specialist service to other field service technicians for unresolved technical problems/issues

Support the sales team with technical expertise to help maximize equipment leads and upgrade opportunities

Work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
-
26 years of relevant experience
-
Experience servicing and repairing production-level office equipment such as copiers, printers, fax machines, mailing machines, etc.

Production print certifications are highly preferred

Strong computer knowledge
-
Excellent customer service and communication skills
-
Strong problem-solving and mechanical/electrical skills
-
Proficient in Windows 10 applications

Highly motivated and capable of working independently in the field

Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record (a company vehicle will be provided)
