Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of automation testers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices within the automation testing team.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve automation testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (7 - 8 years) in automation testing, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of automation testers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are desirable.
