We're hiring experienced Low Voltage Technicians to lead cabling installation projects in hospitals and healthcare environments. This position involves hands-on field work with the installation, termination, testing, and documentation of structured cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, coax, power-limited tray cable, and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode).

While nurse call system experience is a plus, we're looking for skilled technicians who can lead by example and ensure quality installations in sensitive, high-stakes healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation of low-voltage systems in hospitals and healthcare facilities, ensuring all work aligns with safety protocols and the SoW.
  • Oversee and mentor technicians on best practices for cable placement, termination, labeling, and testing.
  • Escalate high-risk, unusual, or out-of-scope work to ensure proper support and alignment.
  • Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct in compliance with both company and hospital standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide accurate status updates and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
  • Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation, including punch lists, QA checklists, and closeout packages.
  • Respond in real time to site or scope changes, identifying potential impacts on timeline, materials, or manpower.
  • Support project planning and execution tools such as SNAPSHOTs, network diagrams, and install guides.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong experience installing, terminating, and testing twisted pair, coaxial, CAT5e/CAT6, and fiber optic cabling.
  • Experience working in active hospital environments, including clean rooms or patient care areas.
  • Familiarity with systems like nurse call, security, access control, and wireless networks is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA standards and NEC.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic cable testing equipment.
  • Comfortable training and directing field crews to meet high-quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of experience installing structured cabling systems, especially in commercial or healthcare settings.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling layouts, cable pathways, and low voltage systems integration.

Benefits and Pay:

  • Pay Range: $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Health Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement Plan: 401K plan with employer contribution match.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous paid time off, including holidays and vacation days.
  • Professional Development: Industry-leading training programs and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Team Culture: Regular team-building events, community involvement programs, and yearly holiday parties to foster a strong team atmosphere.
