Location: Albion, IN (On-site) Schedule: 1st Shift | Full-Time Industry: Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Compensation: $41,000$50,000/year
We're hiring a CDL-A Short Haul Driver to join a growing manufacturing team in Albion, IN. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy local routes, hands-on logistics, and working with flatbed trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and load staged axles
- Prep and audit orders for delivery accuracy
- Secure loads with proper strapping
- Deliver products to various locations
- Pick up raw materials for production
- Plan efficient routes and coordinate logistics
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance
- Keep equipment clean and in top condition
- Follow all safety and security protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- 3+ years of flatbed driving experience preferred (not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
