Requirements:
- 2+ years of SBA or commercial lending experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with SBA loan programs and eligibility criteria
- Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach
Description:
- Partner with Relationship Managers to assess borrower credit quality and SBA program eligibility
- Accompany Relationship Managers on prospect calls (phone and in-person)
- Provide training and support on SBA lending to internal teams
- Collect and review documentation required for SBA loan processing
- Act as a subject matter expert on SBA regulations, credit guidelines, and secondary market expectations
- Maintain a strong market presence to develop direct SBA loan opportunities
- Contribute to a productive and communicative department environment
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional lending regulations
