About the position
We are looking for a System Administrator with strong experience in Linux environments to join our infrastructure team. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with automation tools and hybrid cloud environments, and are looking to grow in a collaborative, multicultural setting based in Portugal.
Tasks
- Manage and maintain Linux-based systems in production and development environments
- Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades across multiple servers
- Develop and monitor automation scripts for configuration and deployment
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs
- Troubleshoot incidents and provide technical support to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator
- Hands-on experience with VMware administration
- Experience with cloud platforms: Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of automation tools: Ansible and Terraform
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, monitoring, and scripting
- Availability for a hybrid work model (preferably based in Lisbon
