About the position
We are looking for a Senior GIS Data Analyst to join a hybrid project based in Lisbon. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data processing, looking to contribute to geospatial data initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Tasks
- Work with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to manage and process geospatial databases
- Automate data ingestion processes using pre-defined scripts and routines
- Maintain and optimize GEO databases used in mapping and spatial analysis
- Support interfaces and systems that consume or visualize geospatial data
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data consistency and integration across platforms
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a data analysis or GIS-related role
- Proven experience with GIS platforms and tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar)
- Solid knowledge in automating data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Familiarity with geospatial database structures and data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON)
- Availability for a hybrid work model in Lisbon
