About the position
Are you a skilled Water/Wastewater Hydraulic Modeler looking to take your career to the next level? You'll work alongside top industry professionals on impactful projects involving sanitary sewer systems and potable water distribution system modeling across the Mid-Atlantic region.

What You'll Do:
- Lead and execute hydraulic modeling projects for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
- Develop, calibrate, and update hydraulic and hydrologic models using software such as InfoWorks, WaterGEMS, XPSWMM, EPA-SWMM, and KY Pipe
- Analyze system performance, identify deficiencies, and recommend planning/design solutions
- Create detailed technical deliverables, including hydraulic calculations, reports, and presentations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for modeling assignments
- Support proposal development and prepare scopes of work for modeling and planning projects
- Coordinate and guide junior staff, including mentoring on modeling techniques and QA/QC processes
- Collaborate directly with clients and attend project meetings to provide expert consulting support
- Prepare and compile contract documents, cost estimates, and design packages
- Participate in master planning efforts and long-term infrastructure planning for public agencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 810+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience with a focus on hydraulic modeling
- Advanced proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks, WaterGEMS, KY Pipe, EPA-SWMM, or similar
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, municipal regulations, and design codes
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
