As a Tax Manager, you will manage complex tax engagements, provide strategic tax planning, oversee staff, and build lasting client relationships. You'll work with a diverse client base, including individuals, businesses, and trusts, offering high-level tax expertise and personalized financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements for individuals, businesses, and trusts
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including federal and state filings

Deliver strategic tax planning and identify tax-saving opportunities

Provide expert representation during IRS and state audits

Supervise and mentor tax staff, fostering professional development
- Implement and maintain tax procedures, controls, and documentation

Advise high-net-worth clients across various industries

Stay current with changing tax laws, codes, and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required
- Minimum 35 years of experience in a public accounting firm
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Experience filing tax extensions and handling client representation before the IRS
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and compliance
